Hi – I’m Bronna. I’m not an expert in any one thing; I’m one of those people who knows a little about A LOT of things. You could say I’m your everyday girl next door, but with a little edge. Well, maybe more like the mom next door (age is just a number), but a hip mom (I think, or at least I hope).
Either way, I am a very particular, detail-oriented person, which makes me a picky shopper. I am not about having the best, trendiest product in the marketplace at any cost. I am about getting the best, most effective product at the best price.
Ask Bronna is the brainchild of two of my best friends, Linda and Monica. It became a joke in our morning hikes. We’ve been hiking our dogs together every morning since 2012. They knew people were always asking me about various things I buy and use. Then they would ask me to send them the link so they could buy it too. Hence, Ask Bronna.
For years, countless friends and family have asked for my recommendations because they know I research the bejeezus out of everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING. You’ve heard the expression “down the rabbit hole.” Well, give me a carrot and send me on my way. I’m the person who scours the internet, reads articles and periodicals, and gets down and dirty in the weeds of comments, reviews and questions…that blackhole, time-suck you don’t have time for.
My friends know that if I bought something, I’d already done all the research. They figure why should they do all that work if I’d already done it. Instead, they just ask me for the link and get what I got. This saves them time and money, and is what I hope to do for you by blogging about all the items I research, buy, use, and recommend.
But don’t get the wrong idea; while I love to shop for sport, I am not a shopaholic. The things I blog about are the ghosts of my shopping past, present and future, as well as the “asks” of my readers and social media followers.
My friends have been trying to come up with a way to monetize my madness. What started as the joke “Ask Bronna,” is a reality with this blog. Now you can “ask” me to research a product to find the best one at the best price so I can save you time and money too.
