I recently got these great wireless lights for under my kitchen cabinets and I love them. You can use them anywhere you need light, such as a closet, hallway, garage, basement steps, while camping, inside a console, bar, or supply cabinet. With these wireless, rechargeable LED lights, you can get great light where you need it without an electrician. Plus, they’re available in several different sizes and sets, see below.
There’s an area of my kitchen counter where I like to prep dinner that’s dark – not good when working with a sharp knife. So I decided it was time to look for an efficient and inexpensive solution. In my usual fashion, I did my research and decided on this clever pair of motion-activated lights. I only wish I’d gotten them sooner.
Functionality
The LED lights I bought come in a two-pack with a remote control and USB charger. You can adjust the brightness, set the lights to go off with a timer, and choose from three setting modes:
1. Night Mode is motion activated only when it’s dark
2. Day Mode is motion activated both day and night
3. Always On will keep the lights on until you turn them off
The life of the charge depends on which setting mode you use and how long the lights are on. For instance, in day or night motion-activated mode, the lights can last for weeks on a single charge. But if you leave the lights on all the time at full brightness, they’ll only last about 6 hours before needing to be recharged.
Light Set Up
Setting these up is super easy. Simply plug the lights in with the USB to charge, there’s a nice indicator light to let you know when the lights are fully charged. Then affix the enclosed long magnetic strip with the attached adhesive backing where you want to mount the lights. Lastly, stick the lights to the magnets. Or, stick the lights to any metal surface, such as your refrigerator or a metal filing cabinet. Then use the remote to select brightness and setting mode. Voilà, you’re done.
Get The Lights That Works Best For You
This is the set of two wireless LED light bars I bought. Each rechargeable, magnetic bar has 86 dimmable LED lights and measures 16 inches long by 1.6 inches wide and 0.5 inches deep. The pair cost $39.99 and have 4.3 stars from over 5,300 reviews.
There are several different LED lights available at the LightBiz store on Amazon. Choose the size and number of lights you need depending on where you want to use them. Below is a sampling…
I’m buying more lights for my kid’s closets. Have fun lighting up the dark areas of your home!
Another place you may need light is in your mailbox. Yup, your mailbox. Find out more in my post: Why You Need a Mailbox Light. Or, if you’re already nodding your head and saying, “You know what? I DO need that!” You can buy it here.
