Frywall: A Simple Way to Eliminate Stovetop Splatter, Splashes & Spills

Whether you like to cook or not, we can all agree that no one likes to clean the stovetop. So, eliminate splatter, splashes and spills altogether with this simple safeguard: the Frywall. I’ve had mine since 2019, I use it all the time and it’s still in great condition.

What Is It?

The Frywall is made of BPA-free, FDA-compliant silicone that can withstand continuous cooking temperatures of up to 450 degrees. This ingenious invention is a simple cone that rests inside the rim of your pan. The open-top design allows you to continue working with whatever food you’re cooking while the mess stays inside the Frywall.

The Frywall is far more functional than a splatter screen that needs to be removed every time you want to stir your sauce or flip your food. Not to mention the potential for splatter, spills or splashes that can occur each time you take a splatter screen off.

Get The Right Size

The Frywall comes in three sizes to fit all your favorite fry pans. To get the right size, measure across the inside top of your pan to get the diameter. Then choose the correct size based on the bottom diameter of the Frywall. The small is 8 inches wide, the medium is 10 inches and the large is 12 inches. Each size is available in four colors (see below) so you can order each size in a different color, making it easier to keep them straight. That’s what I did.

To Clean & Store

After keeping your stovetop clean, the Frywall continues to make clean up easy by going in the dishwasher. Just weave it around the spokes of the dishwasher. This keeps it open enough for the water to get through and clean it. The one pictured here is large.

Once the Frywall is clean, simply roll it up for compact storage. My large Frywall rolls to the size of a mug. Which is to say, I could stand the bottom of the cone in a coffee mug.

My Frywall In Action

I highly recommend the Frywall, it really does eliminate stovetop splatter, spills and splashes. Please let me know if you get one and how you like it.

Re-imagine your bowl-shaped strainer or colander and check out the Snap Strainer.

The Snap Strainer is a silicone food strainer that clips onto the edge of a pot or bowl. It makes draining everything easier, not just pasta. Since the strainer forms to any pot, pan or bowl, it’s also great for draining oil or fat out of a pan and straining solids from stocks and broths. Plus, it goes in the dishwasher and takes up a fraction of the space than a full-sized colander. Read my review at The Colander Simplified.
