The Snap Strainers make straining everything easier, not just pasta. Since the strainers form to any pot, pan or bowl, they are also great for draining oil or fat out of a pan and straining solids from stocks and broths.
The BPA-free strainers are made of safe, non-toxic, heat-resistant silicone. I love that they are dishwasher safe and take up a lot less space in the dishwasher than a traditional colander.
How To Use It
The clip-on colander is super simple to use. Just pinch the clips open and attach them to the edge of a bowl, pot or pan so the base fits snugly against the inside rim. Then make sure the strainer is positioned outward to catch the food as you drain out the liquid. Voilà, the colander simplified.
There are a lot of clip-on strainers on the market but the Snap Strainer is the only brand I’ve tried. It works great and I really like it. Thank you, Arlene!
